About

With more than 35 years of experience in Change Management, in India as well as abroad, Marianne lives by the motto if we don’t change in time, time will change us. Currently, she is an international visiting professor, consultant and executive coach in Business, Change and Innovation. Her vision is to continually challenge, guide, and lead people towards embracing sustainable change in order to stay ahead of time. She believes that hidden talents can be uncovered, young leaders coached, and knowledge and experiences shared extensively to allow for continuous advancement and future growth. Supporting people and watching them attain greater heights at both a personal and professional front gives her immense satisfaction. As a Social Psychologist, Marianne focuses on two aspects duringachange process: Business and People. As per her, these are the two facets of the same coin and hence equally important.

Marianne, founder and managing partner of Franzen-Partners, has successfully enabled companies totransition through tough changes that positively impact ROI, lead time, cultural differences, sustainability, mergers, leadership development etc. Companies like Air France KLM India, Philips CFT Eindhoven The Netherlands, IKEA South Asia, Litrogas Lanka Ltd. (Sri Lanka), Johnson & Johnson Corporate Citizenship Trust - Dubai, Technip KT New Delhi India, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), WorldHealth Organization (WHO) India, General Electric India, Bisonkit Manufactory, Headquarters - The Netherlands and Fokker Bangalore India, are just a few names that have benefitted from her vast experienceand expertise.

Furthermore, she worked for the Dutch Ministry of Defense; Ministry of Economic Affairs; Ministry of Education, Culture and Science; Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport; Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management. The realization of implementation in collaboration with political leaders and professionals was the main topic. Marianne also played the role of board member in various industrial organizations and chairperson for the Dutch People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) on regional level. Marianne continues to lead organizations across sectors, ranging from retail, healthcare, oil andgas, finance, IT, manufacturing, education to steel.

As a visiting professor, Marianne collaborated with The Free University Amsterdam, TIAS Business School Tilburg, The Netherlands, CMR University Bangalore (Executive MBA Program), CiTech Engineering College Bangalore (International Programs & Consultancy and Industrial Engagement), IMD Delhi (Change Management), Pondicherry University (MBA Programs on Change and Innovation) andFaculty of Management Studies (FMS) New Delhi.

Between May - October 2016, she had the role of Interim-President, at India Netherlands Business Association (INBA), New Delhi. In the year 2017-2018 she was Vice President of the Women International Club (WIC) Delhi. In 2017 she was Business Editor of the HR Magazine ‘People and Management’. Between 2020 and 2022 she was the President of the INBCB - India Dutch Business Circle Bangalore, India

Currently, she is a mentor at VeniSIA, Venice Sustainability Innovation Accelerator Italy and also a mentor at The Free University Start Up Hub in Amsterdam. To continue her support for Female Leadership she is a member of the G100 Global Advisory Council on education and employment and since 2017 guiding the applied research on Female Leadership in Managing Change.

As a psychologist, an executive coach, a visionary, a board member, and a leader of change processes, sheen joys sharing her knowledge and experiences with the future generation of professionals and leaders, by coaching students of B-schools and Universities, young managers in industrial companies, governmental organizations and the start-up entrepreneurs.

Currently, Marianne is residing and working in Porto, Portugal.
